With scruff at 100 mile house

A native of Vancouver, I grew up on Vancouver’s North Shore where many hours were spent outside in the forest trails and on the local beaches.  I now live in Gibson’s, BC with my husband.

I have always had a love of art and initially creating papier maché sculptures.  I transferred over to painting about 15 years ago, working mostly in oil, although I now work in acrylic as well – with each having their own pros and cons – depending on the project.

Along with my husband and family, another love of my life is dogs, and my husband and I have worked with various groups to assist and rescue dogs from various places.  Larry, is a bush pilot and, whenever possible, brings abandoned dogs and puppies out of the north.  These dogs have all found wonderful homes and have brought joy to the families who have adopted them.

While I paint landscapes and other genre, it was inevitable that these two loves should meld and much of my time is spent bringing their personalities to life on canvas.
